Shirazi Tumbler
This Tumbler is bred specifically for it's color as well as tumbling. It is a true Tumbler in a sence that it should tumble very frequent during flight. It is not popular in Tehran and are mostly kept by Fanciers in central Iran who like fancy pigeons (Rangbazan).
Ideal bird should carry a perfect color without any fault.
It is crested with a needle-pointed peak crest. It is either clean-legged or muffed.
Bred in self colored as well as some attractive colored varieties and patterns that separates them into several types as follows:
Plumage of the head is colored and balance of the body is white.
It is bred in red, yellow, and almonds. It may be bred in other colors but personaly
have not seen any.
Colored plumage bird with white wings.
It is bred in black, red, yellow, and dun. It may be bred in other colors but personaly
have not seen any.
White tailed, with balance of plumage colored.
It is bred in black, blue, silver (soosani), red, yellow, dun, and almonds.
Solid white with colored tail.
It is bred in black, red, and yellow.
Today in Iran, there are many bred and kept by Fanciers throughout the country, but I am not aware of their importation to USA.
